Privacy Policy
AI Ponics Pvt Ltd ("AI Ponics", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit ai-ponics.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information you give us directly. Today, that means:
- Email address — when you submit our "Notify me" form to be told about our launch, or when you email us at hello@ai-ponics.com.
- Submission metadata — when you submit the form, we also record your IP address and browser user-agent string, for spam-prevention and abuse-triage purposes.
- Message content — anything you write to us in an email or message.
We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party tags on this site. Our web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user-agent) for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
2. How we use your information, and on what legal basis
- To notify you when AI Ponics launches, if you opted in via our form. Legal basis: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time — see §5 below).
- To respond to questions, partnership inquiries, or feedback you send us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and growing the business.
- To investigate and prevent abuse of our site (spam submissions, malicious requests, security incidents). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
We will never sell your personal information, and we will not send you marketing emails unrelated to the topic you contacted us about.
3. How long we keep it
- Email addresses from the notify form: until launch, until you ask us to remove yours, or until we close the notify list — whichever comes first.
- IP and user-agent attached to a notify submission: 90 days, then automatically purged from the leads table.
- Web-server request logs: up to 30 days.
- Email correspondence: as long as needed to address your request, plus a reasonable period after for our records.
4. Service providers (sub-processors) and where data is stored
We use a small number of trusted third parties to run the site. They process your data only on our instructions, under their own published privacy and security commitments:
- Airtable (US) — stores notify-form submissions (email, source, IP, user-agent) in our private "AI Ponics Leads" base. See airtable.com/privacy.
- Our cPanel web host — serves the site files and runs the form-handler script. Hosting is provided by a commercial shared-hosting provider; current location of the origin server is available on request.
- Google Fonts (US, served via Google's global CDN) — delivers the typefaces used on the site. When your browser fetches the fonts, Google may receive your IP address and user-agent, subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Email delivery — replies and email correspondence pass through our company inbox at hello@ai-ponics.com, hosted with our email provider.
Some of these providers (notably Airtable and Google) store and process data outside Pakistan, including in the United States. By submitting the form or contacting us, you understand that your data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own. We choose providers who publish standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers.
5. Your choices and rights
Wherever you are based, you can ask us at any time to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it (right of access).
- Correct any information that is inaccurate (right to rectification).
- Delete your information from our records (right to erasure / "right to be forgotten").
- Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format, or have it transferred to another provider where technically feasible (right to data portability).
- Withdraw consent for the notify list at any time, with effect for the future.
- Object to, or restrict, our processing of your information for any purpose other than legal compliance.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ai-ponics.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
6. Children's privacy
AI Ponics is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to anyone on our notify list before they take effect.
